CHILDREN, YOUTH & COMMUNITY SERVICES
Burnaby School District's Children, Youth & Community Services Division is comprised of three comprehensive service and program departments.
The first department focuses on Learning Extension Services that includes:
The second department is Children & Youth Services and includes:
- youth at risk support services
- community schools
- school meal program
- early learning and childcare programs
- after school programs
- heritage language
- cultural transition and Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) Program
- safe school programs and services
The third department focuses on Community Services:
- Community partnerships
- Interagency coordination & liaision
- Communications & community relations
