ABORIGINAL EDUCATION

The Burnaby School District's Aboriginal Education Support Team addresses the unique educational needs and interests of Aboriginal students and families in Burnaby. The support team consists of Aboriginal Education Resources Teachers and Aboriginal Youth & Family Support Workers. The Aboriginal Education Support Team is guided by the Aboriginal Education Enhancement Agreement which is a commitment made by each school district, all local Aboriginal communities, and the Ministry of Education, to work together to improve the success of all Aboriginal students.
